This is the finest book store I've ever been to, with the best shop merchant that I've ever had the pleasure of doing business with. One of the only reasons to visit California. I miss doing business with you, do you do online?

Highly recommend. The owner can track down rare books for you, he has a large religion and new age section, tarot cards, game books, greeting cards etc. Highly recommend

One of two bookstores here in oroville. That Carrie's new as well as used books. Its owner is the gem of the place. A well read person who is more than happy to help you find the book you want. Very informative on many subjects and a pleasure to talk to. I highly recommend Discount Books to any reader on any subject.

I have been shopping at discount books for years. The owner Fawzi , is a gentleman who provides excellent customer service and knows about his books. You may talk to him about any subject you want. the atmosphere at the store is very relaxing especially when I listen to my favorite music playing at the store. Good prices, no pressure and very good variety of books in all categories. Shopping at discount books is a n excellent experience.

Fauzi is the nicest guy. He helped my mother in law looked for her favorite author. Sadly he didn't have it but is glad to order it for her! Support small business!
